The Puppet Lab

The puppet lab came into our posession when Professor Aurora Valentinetti retired, and the Department of Drama stopped teaching puppetry. Oddly enough, the lab has retained its name after moving twice. We could not conceive a better name. The lab (including adjoining control room) contains:

Facilities include a wet lab for sample & sediment analysis (e.g. sieving, wetting, drying, litho-sectioning) plus an experimental bean-slope flume. There is a storage room for field gear, which includes two laser assisted total stations (fast accurate surveying of field sites), a GPS system, laptop computers, digital range finders, digital inclinometers, pygmy & full scale current meters, assorted data loggers, pressure transducers, water level indicators, tools, and hardware.
